  • April 25 2026, Digital Dog Day – White Oak Park (Time 12:30 to 3pm).
  • Feb 5-10 2025, W4W – George Westinghouse Special Event Station Activation.
  • Jul 27 – 31 2024, World Ranger day W4R Special Event Station Activation.
  • May 25th, 2024 10:00 LCL to 4:30pm LCL – SCARS Club Day-in-the-Park event at:  Pickett’s Mill Battlefield Historic group shelter. POTA demonstrations, Digital operation presentations, Go-Box show-and-tell, Club member For Sale/Trade tables. 

1×1 Special Event Call Sign process:

Select an available 1×1 call sign and reserve it through an authorized coordinator, which registers it for your event dates—no direct filing with the Federal Communications Commission is needed—and then operate using that call sign within normal license rules during the event.

  • Check database for availability before requesting 1×1 Call Sign.
  • Reservation up to 1 year in advance of event for no more than 15 consecutive days.
